The surrounding area is known for eco-tourism. Less than 30 minutes from the property, you have many options from hiking, hot springs, caves, waterfalls, bird watching, canopy tours, horseback riding, canoeing, rafting, and many more.

Mt. Arenal is also located 30 minutes from the property. Mt. Arenal is an active volcano, and is definitely recommended. Hot springs such as Tabacon, Baldi's, Los Lagos, are located nearby. We recommend Tabacon. There are also canoe tours available in many parts of this region, as well as lakes and rivers for fishing.

Costa Rica has a wide large variety of animals in the wild such as sloth monkeys, hollow monkeys, coati, armadillo, etc. Also there are many species of birds everywhere, including toucans, eagles, macaus, parrots, etc..
